The Control 25T-WH is perhaps the most versatile of JBL Professionals Control Contractor Series indooroutdoor loudspeakers. Its robust nature makes the Control 25T-WH a perfect choice for restaurants, health clubs, outdoor theme and water parks or other applications where foregroundbackground music and paging are required. The Control 25T-WH can be used in either 70.7V or 100V distributedline sound systems. Taps are provided at 30W, 15W and 7.5W plus a 3.7W tap for use on 70.7V systems only. The unique and global patent pending InvisiBall mounting hardware is included in each system and makes short work of permanent installation. The InvisiBall mounting method adds the benefit of vertical rotation of up to 37 off-axis and horizontal rotation of up to 44 off-axis. Because InvisiBall adjustments are made through a hidden access behind the logo badge, the grill never needs to be removed and there exists a high degree of theft deterrence as well. The Control 25T-WH readily accepts a variety of paints and finishes to match any decor. Weather resistance is maximized by coating the woofer cone in polypropylene and terminating its circumference in JBLs WeatherEdge a seamless, rubberized extension of the woofer surround that provides added protection to critical transducer elements. The polycarbonate tweeter diaphragm is reinforced with a thin film of titanium for added rigidity and endurance against sun, salt and moisture. The Electro-Voice® ZX1i is the new standard of no compromise audio performance and versatility in an easy to install, compact sound reinforcement package. The enclosure geometry has been engineered to provide maximum rigidity and acoustic performance. The velocity compensated port design overcomes the limitation of many small cabinet loudspeakers and enables exceptional low-frequency response without vent noise. ZX1i installation is incredibly simple with the included QuickSAM mounting system. The QuickSAM system is a unique, integrated mounting bracket which is virtually foolproof. It allows the installer to simply snap the speaker onto the bracket, then tighten it to the desired position. For array mounting, there is an optional array bracket kit available which allows multiple units to be mounted together for a variety of configurations. All Zx1i "t" versions use a special circuit that, when in transformer mode, re-configures the network to a current actuated Hi-Pass filter at the transformer primary. It gently rolls off the lowest frequencies to maintain a safe load on the amplifier without affecting the higher (vocal) frequencies and the program continues without interruption. Low frequency current is limited through the transformer eliminating low frequency saturation. Automatic Saturation Compensation allows many speakers to be run on a distributed line with a 50Hz Hi-Pass filter before the amplifier, regardless of the number of speakers on the same line (the number of tapped watts cannot exceed the amplifier rating). With the same 50Hz Hi-Pass, 10 speakers on transformers will have the same full sound as a single speaker at 8 ohms.

Product Description

The EVID 3.2w is a very compact full-range loudspeaker ideal for indoor and outdoor applications requiring high-quality sound. Its shape and size make it nearly invisible for use in backgroundforeground music systems for restaurants, bars, patios, retail and other applications. The 3.2s three-dimensional elliptic baffle symmetrically locates the .75 Ti direct radiator high-frequency element in front of and between the 3.5 low-frequency drivers. The careful shaping, location, and 10 splaying of the LF units provide coverage control by the resulting line array. Lobing is controlled by physically shadowing the LF transducers from each other over the bandwidth where they would normally exhibit interference. EVIDs mounting system provides greater range of aiming angles in both horizontal and vertical planes than other types. The curved grille features designed-in weather resistance and a hidden leash for safety. All models are available in black or white and can easily be painted to match the dcor. Transformer versions are also available for constant voltage systems.
